Lehigh Achieves Gold Rating in 2021 STARS Report

Congratulations to our current client and neighbor in Bethlehem, PA, Lehigh University for achieving a Gold rating from AASHE STARS.  While nearly 700 institutions from throughout the world have submitted STARS reports, only 25% have achieved a gold rating, which indicates a high level of institutional sustainability.

Lehigh excels in many areas of the Sustainability Tracking Assessment & Rating System report and performs better than most reporting peer institutions in the majority of metrics.

The Stone House Group Partners with Lehigh University to provide Climate Action Planning Services

The Stone House Group is partnering with Lehigh University and Trust to develop Lehigh’s Climate Action Strategy. Our team will conduct an ASHRAE Level 1.5 Energy Audit of thirty-four (34) campus facilities and provide technical consulting services through the Climate Action Planning process. Trust will engage with the campus community to support Plan development. The Climate Action Plan will outline strategies and tactics that provide potential paths for the University to achieve net carbon neutrality. Carbon reduction targets will be developed in conjunction with campus working and advisory groups. The Stone House Group’s staff will work with students in Lehigh’s Industrial Assessment Center to complete campus energy audits, providing an opportunity to make the campus a living laboratory.

Dickinson College ranks in the top 10 in Princeton Review's Guide to Green Colleges.

The Princeton Review has issued its 2021 Guide to Green Colleges, and once again Dickinson College has been ranked in the guide's Top 10 Green Colleges.  The guide recognizes the nation’s most environmentally responsible colleges based on each institutions' sustainability-focused policies, practices and programs. A total of 416 higher education institutions were recognized this year, and Dickinson has received honors every year since its inception in 2010. The Stone House Group has provided a variety of energy management, building commissioning, LEED administration, retro-commissioning, and sustainability consulting services to Dickinson since our firm's founding 1999.
